About Me
Sergey Mikhaylovich Mikhalev graduated in Engineering in Chemical Technology of Materials of Modern Energetics by the Ural State Technical University (Ekaterinburg, Russia) in 2000 and completed a PhD degree (Candidate of Technical Sciences) in Engineering (thesis title: "Electrolytic deposition and refining of hafnium metal in chloride melts") in January 2004 (at Ural State Technical University). From February 2004 Sergey Mikhalev was working in Ural State Technical University as Research Associate (2005), Docent of Rare Metals and Nanomaterials Department (Physical-Engineering Faculty) (2005-2007) and Deputy Dean of Physical-Engineering Faculty (at same time). Sergey Mikhalev left Ural State Technical University at October 2007 and started to work in the group of companies “Pack-Servis” (Ekaterinburg, Russia). From May 2008 Sergey Mikhalev works in postdoctoral researcher position in University of Aveiro (Portugal) at Department of Ceramics and Glass Engineering, CICECO (2008-2010), Mechanical Engineering Department, TEMA (from 2010).
