About Me
Luís Louro (PhD) is a Junior researcher at Centro Algoritmi, University of Minho, in the Mobile and Anthropomorphic Robotics Lab of the Control, Automation and Robotics group of the Industrial Electronics research line. Within the scope of the research contract, he teaches the curricular units of LPI 1, LPI 2 and Project I to the integrated master course in Industrial Electronic Engineering and Computers at the University of Minho. He was a lecturer and project tutor at Summer School NETT hands-on robotics workshop on neurodynamics Approaches to Cognitive Robotics supported by European project FP7 EU NETT, and at the Hands-on Summer School on Neural Dynamics Approaches to Cognitive Robotics, supported by eu-cognition network of excellence. His research interest is focused on human-robot interaction/collaboration and in autonomous robots and its applications. He has participated in several research projects financed by national and European funds (FCT, H2020-PT and FP6) such as: Easy Ride: “Experience is Everything”, iFACTORY, P24 – "Autonomous Milk-Runs", JAST - "Joint Action Science and Technology”, Artesimit - "Artefact Structural Learning Through Imitation" and CoopDyn - “Synthesis of Cooperative Behavior in Multi-Robot Systems: a Nonlinear Attractor Dynamics Approach”.
