About Me
Cláudia Figueiredo has a PhD in Education (specialisation in assessment) from University of Aveiro. She is currently an assistant researcher at the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences of the University of Aveiro and a full researcher at CIPES - Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies. She is a researcher in the domains of Higher Education Studies and her recent academic research topics focus on Competencies and skills assessment, Students' Well-being and experience in Higher Education and Curricular development and innovation. She is involved in several research projects funded by the Portuguese Science and Technology Foundation and by European funds. She has been developing scientific work in the domain of assessment, namely the construction, development and statistical analysis of measurement instruments in the areas of education and psychology, as well as survey methodology, scaling procedures, psychometric methods and statistical data analysis.
